Echo Valley Hope is an educational and charitable nonprofit corporation created by a group of people wanting to make a difference. In recognition of the need for sustainable living and renewable energy, Echo Valley Hope seeks to educate the general public and supports the efforts of similar organizations in all aspects of ecological preservation.

Charitable activities include providing good nutritious food and clean water to those in need from disaster or long term disadvantage.

Recognizing that community building begins with strong, empowered individuals, Echo Valley Hope supports educational and charitable nonprofit organizations which promote the well being of all people.

We are honored by Wisconsin Trail magazine's Editor Harriet Brown, for her selection of Echo Valley Hope as one of "20+ People Making A Difference" in the January / February 2008 annual conservation issue.

Echo Valley Hope, Inc the educational and charitable non-profit, is hosting a series of conference calls dedicated to creating/supporting small organic farms, strengthening farming communities and increasing the number of community gardens. This endeavor is called Farms Link People.

The Fact: There is no longer any question we are in a transition. Energy prices, food prices rising, increased job losses and foreclosures demand new approaches and interim help for those in need.

The Vision: The re-establishment of small sustainable community farms and strong local communities offering new possibilities to young and old. For individuals and families facing relocation due to job loss, for struggling small farms, for people who have land to steward, for those who have a desire to live close to the land and to feed others: the linking of land and people could be a seamless solution.

The Hope: These calls welcome anyone to the dialogue.

The Request: If you or someone you know has a passion to feed people, those who are farming sustainably or would like to learn how to do so, and recognize the importance of community to that end, you are welcome. We recognize many sustainable efforts are underway, some are thriving, some are struggling, and we welcome all. Spring is not far off, we could be ready to plant new hope as we plant new crops.

Conference calls will be held monthly:
